Bryan's post brings up a good point that seems to reenforce just what I was saying earlier: It's all about direction. I mean, thinking of the photographer as the director here, and how much more evocative and sexy and everything that second picture is, as opposed to the cheesy pic of her in the Princess Leia getup. No question: she's just sexy as hell in that facial shot. And she's sexy as Matilda, much sexier than anything she's done since. All depends on the direction.

One time (at bandcamp), I was in some steenking rock club back home on Long Island, "Spit" or something, and my friend and I met this gaggle of giggly underagers, chicks who were like 16 but could easily have passed for drinking age, you know what I mean? One of them, I became aquaintances with, a girl by the name of Danielle. She had just one name, like Cher. "Danielle." She was a very hot chickie. And she looked a little like Natalie Portman: small, dark, big eyes, nice Julia Roberts mouth. We lost touch over the years... And, for your info, you nut cases, we never did what we SHOULDA done. She never gave in. (Remember I said, if I knew then what I know now... I'd have done some things more forcefully? Well, Danielle is one of those things.) Whenever I see Natalie's beautiful face, a part of me -- and not the part you're thinking of -- feels some regret for letting little Danielle slip away without at least... Well, ya know.

    :(

Man if there 1 thread worth resurecting it's a thread about Natalie Portman. Put Jewel, Natalie and myself on a desert island and I could live very happily ever after. She is just so gorgeous, although when "V for Vendetta" comes out it will be a change. It's good that she's also an outstanding actor and not just a pretty face.

Where's Micah....her looks haven't hit the wall she looks marvelous. Although if I had my choice the hair needs to stay!

And a true sign of natural beauty is when a woman looks gorgeous with no hair(on her head that is ;) )

    Ashley played Marilyn?

You can drop Jewel and add Ashley's oughta-be, half-sister, Charlize, to that island mix por moi. Even after seeing Monster...

her character turns that stupid movie into something deeper, something more ethereal.
I agree. Both about this movie and the professional vs. now. She still makes me watch any movie but I don't think it is possible to top L

She's damn near anorexic and not all that hot, what's all the hub-bub? Go down to your local bar tonight and I guarantee a more beautiful woman will be there, and she might actually talk to you too.

When was the last time you tried to talk to Natalie? Or are you just generalizing because she's famous? Just busting your chops a bit :p:D . I see women out all the time who are just a good looking....that's not really the point.

There seems to be a trend, AGAIN, for the actresses, singers, and models to try and be super skinny. Look at what has happened to Jessica Simpson for example. Just a year or two ago, she was just about perfect, bodywise, and now she's way too skinny. Even the swimsuit models, which historically have been "full bodied" women, have gotten too thin. I don't care to see the breast plate or be able to roll a barrel between their thighs.

Yep...that's the case. In defense to Nat she's been a vegitarian most of her life so she will always lack a bit of meat on her bones. I don't care for the trendy anorexic look either. There's a big difference between being fit and being gaunt. A little definition never hurts. Breast plate and barrel rolling, not attractive.

    :p

Just saying, not sure what all the hype is about over her (or most celebs). She looks like a young boy with mosquito bites when her hair is shaved off.

I had a GF with the body type of Nat-Port and....well, nevermind. ;)
