Xbox 360 to support both HD formats

I have owned both the playstation 1 and 2, but recently went with the Xbox 360. Hey, I love it, but I think the Playstation will get its love too as it builds. They will compete, it will make the games better, and all will be good. there is no "one system rules and the other sucks" scenario here. all three seem to be good game platforms, and thats pretty much it in my eyes. I might very well get a Playstation 3 down the road if I get it.

+1 to that! Although I don't think the 360 really compares well as an hd player to the ps3, the games are great! I got so used to the duck, cover, and shoot tactics of GOW that the gameplay of resistance feels like I'm just floating around getting shot at. I hope they bring at least a little of that to halo 3...I keep looking at stuff like it would make great cover, but end up getting all shot up anyways.

OK cheddar your right about the tude brother,sometimes I get a little over the top on proving my point,but I still stand by my 360.And I still own the PS3 because of the blue ray.So my apology for the name calling,pretty childish there.And I see your from N Cali. so am I,bay area.Fremont.We all have our likes and dislikes and each company has their paper wars,so i'll leave it there.

Agreed! My apologies for coming down on you so hard about the article. Probably was being a little picky. I love my 360, GOW rocks. Reminds me a lot of paintball. Roadie run and all lol...

it seems everyone's bitching about which system is better...my point was I never had any intentions of buying an Xbox since I loved the PS1 and 2...But Microsoft has since convinced me to go ahead and get a 360..

and i may one day purchase a ps3. i'm sure it'll gain much momentum this year. i waited, not on purpose, a whole year before finally deciding upon a 360 vs. a playstation that had just hit the market. maybe in a year i'll get one.
