POLK RM6005 Center channel...

Hello, I am not happy with the Polk RM6005 center channel. It is hard to hear voices at conversation tone during movies. I have the 6005 set with an infinity bu-2 sub connected the Polk way run with a yammie rx-v995. I am wondering if (because they are lower end speakers) whether or not I would get dramatic changes if I upgraded center channels. Would a 3 way center channel make a lot of difference? Would an external amplifier help? I am very happy with the sound of the satellites and even my sub (though I will upgrade that later). I have checked and rechecked the settings on the receiver and the DVD player and are following the recommendations there. I just would like to know what is the next best center to put with the speakers (CS1, CS2, etc.) and I am looking at the JBL EC35 3 way center channel as well. It is rated very highly for its price range, but not sure if it will effect other spaeker performance. I hear Timbre matching thrown around a lot and am afraid of mixing brands. Any advice from Polksters or from Polk customer service would be greatly appreciated. Just want to enjoy my rig without breaking the bank. Thanks a lot guys.
