Three of the movies I watched recently had some wild chase scenes, and that got me wondering what chase scenes you guys liked so I could check them out. The ones I'm referring to follow:

Terminator 3: Chase scene with police cars, construction truck etc..
The Matrix Reloaded: Trinity on the freeway
Bad Boys 2: The Jamaican posse ripoff

What are some of your favorite wild chase scenes?
Main theater: Paradigm Studio 100's v4 L/R, CC690 Center, ADP 590 x4 Surrounds. Dual Outlaw LFM-EX-1's, Yamaha Aventage RX-A1010 as Processor, Anthem PVA-7 Amp

Secondary System: Polk RTi 6 L/R, CSi3, Center, FXi3 x4 Surrounds, Def-Tech Supercube II, Pioneer Elite VSX-23 Receiver

    No one mentioned "Seven-Up"?

There's also a chase in the movie "Run" that featured Kelly Preston being chased. I thought that was quite good myself.

The Island was a good one. I keep seeing Bullit appear, I do not have this, but I will purchase it. Is it available on DVD?

There was some stupid movie with George Clooney in it a while back that was bad except for the car chase scene. I can't remember which movie it was though.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

+1 on Russ's entry, exactly what I would have entered. Lots of other note worthy ones but those are classic.

Check out "The Driver" sometime. Ryan O'Neil plays a professional getaway driver. Great scene in a parking garage where he proves he is a good driver to some potential employers.

Ronin seems to a popular choice, I'll check that one out tonight. Got to see if some of those classics are available.

Bourne Identity wasn't all that bad of a chase.
The Grand Caravan chase scene in Mr and Mrs Smith was pretty good.

But when it comes to chase scenes, nothing tops Bullit and The French Connection

    Blues Brothers was pretty close.

    The Peacemaker?... not bad.

Both of the Bourne movies had decent ones as well, especially Identity.

But there can be only one #1 and that's Bullit.

That's right, the original Gone in 60 - the last 3rd of the damn movie is a chase scene.

Now I want to watch 'The Gumball Rally' - what a great era for car movies.

Good job to shack for bringing up Road Warrior. I agree with Danny, the movie 'Seven-Ups' had a good car chase scene too. The movie wasn't as memorable.

Actually the chase scene at the beginning of "The Transporter" is really good. Made even better by the fact that the getaway car is a large beemer rather than your typical sports car.

BTW - it isn't a bad movie - well worth a rent. (or a cheap (under $10.00) blind buy)
