Mark and John Curl had a conversation late today at Alexis Park, he owns one of 5 in existence - you guys seriously think that amp is going anywhere? That, and how in the hell would freakin' Krell be an upgrade?

    Blowtorch ****, Blowtorch.

We're getting 'Crumped' up, RIP Bob.

    Cheers,
    Russ

Blue - Thanks man, unfortunately the amp has identified in my living will to go to Russman....if we're both dead, then it goes to bottom of the ocean.

    Blowtorch pre?

Lemme look for that spare $15K I had laying around......

At least with the Blowtorch you wouldn't have to worry about which tubes to roll.

I would love to have the matching Blowtorch, and it's an impressive pre-amp to see in person, but it won't ever happen.

I'll never ever have one either. The ICs to get to the bottom of the ocean, and speaker wire back the other direction, make it cost prohibitive.

I'll let Mark know Robert, he's in the bathroom with the Parasound literature we picked up today. He's been in there quite a while, and I don't think he's moving his bowels.

    Where's that handle of Beam?

    Doro,

Dibs on the B&K AVR317, if you decide to part with it. It looks like you and Russ are having a blast, take lots of pictures of gear we can't afford, makes us appreciate what we have more. Have fun!!

My only advice to you folks is, save up your money, because high-end exists for a reason....we both have fire sales coming up, it's time to go to the next level.
Our two heroes haven't even unpacked yet and they're posting fire sales.

Something very contageous at the CES...
    More later,

    Nothing contageous at CES.

Everything cool (short of the Polk and Klipsch booth, and handful of others) was offsite.
