    Okay,here's the give-away clues(Google is your friend).Famed drummer and Grateful Dead co-founder Bill Kreutzmann, guitar master Papa Mali, legendary New Orleans bass man George Porter Jr. (The Meters, Funky Meters) and multi-instrumentalist Matt Hubbard (Willie Nelson, Fastball), are in this band.Nearly all of the songs are co-penned by Papa Mali and longtime Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter.
    If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

    No takers? A clue then...

    This band was formed in 1967 in San Francisco (what band of that era wasn't formed in SF?...:rolleyes:). Stayed together long enough to make some music magic 15 years later. In fact they released an album last year and have another coming out this year.

    I'll be scarce for a couple of days so....

    The album title is a one movement orchestral piece by a French composer that premiered at the Paris opera in 1928. This album/cover art was released in 1960. The beach scene from the movie ?10? instantly pops into my mind whenever I hear the title track. This album was performed by a large city orchestra in PA where the cheesesteak has its roots. The conductor had a 44 year tenure there.

    OK...its been a couple of days. Here is a hint. This Los Angeles band's debut album (NOT this album) in 2002 contains a single that has become a bit of a staple as a wedding song...even though the lyrics don't fit. The picture is their 3rd album.
