I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Hint: this artist is part of another band, but has put out a number of solo albums over the years. The latest one has a picture of the artist kneeling on the hood of a car with a sword.

These boys originated in the same State that Gumbo did. Like my old buddy Wes....and he always said you need the French base to make good thick Cajun Gumbo.

Hint: Two of the same name known as much now for their children's albums as their adult albums.

Really dude? "They Might Be Giants"? Couldn't come up with anything better?

Dunno what made me click on this thread today but I was listening to that album last night. Not my favorite album from them but I think it was their first, wasn't it?

So how does this work? Do I have to post one now?

Well, shack straightened somebody else out already:

So I guess here's my album cover. It's not a "rock" album but I've seen others posted that aren't "rock" albums either. This group did have mainstream success though so at least one person should recognize it.

I edited the cover a bit to remove the album/band info. That'd make it too easy.

Zingo, youve been around enough to know how this works. You gotta guess jstas'.

...besides...Eric Clapton - 461 Ocean Boulevard is just too damn easy.

Sorry guys... When I posted the album, the first one had not been posted yet because I had the screen open for a few minutes, and this is the first time I'm returning to the post and realizing that I had double posted over someone else.

From the album that brought us the song "Cantaloop" which I'm guessing everyone in the world has heard whether or not they recognize the band/song title! Great choice.

Decal- you probably missed that I had already guessed the Us3 album the previous night. No big deal! Sometimes these threads all run together. Luckily, being a Buddy Guy fan, I am familiar with the cover you posted as well (the "BG" on the ring didn't hurt either).

Hint: his second solo album was produced by Mick Ronson and David Bowie (though the cover I posted above is not of his second album).

Lou Reed - Live: Take No Prisoners

I thought the cover looked like something Reed would do. Can't stand him as an artist though.

I'm a HUGE Lou Reed fan. But reasonable people can disagree on things like music, yes? ;)

Yes...we can...and we are definitely on opposite sides of the fence when it comes to LR. As I said in another thread...most every cover of anything of Reed's....was better than Reed himself.

    But again...JMO...YOMV.
