I bought rti10's, fxi5 rears and csi5 center to replace my old bose acoustimas system. Please tell me the coin I dropped is going to be worth it once everything shows. up. This was an impulse buy. I have no clue what to expect.

oh, and depending on your listening taste, expect to purchase a nice, expensive subwoofer soon.

I have a harmon kardon avr235 that I am currently using with the bose. From what I have read that may not be enough to drive the rti10's. I have a "vintage" carver-tfm35 2 channel amp that I may be able to knock the cobwebs off and hook up.
I think I am going to have a bose blowout sell on ebay. I have a pair of 901 series v that I never listen to and my existing acoustimass system. If I can sell them for a reasonable price I am sure I wont have to take any xanex to ease the anxiety. -

The money you make from selling Bose on ebay should put a nice dent into what you paid for the Polk's.
I went from Bose to Polk in my HT and I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised at the difference.

As the knight dude said to Indiana, "You've choosen wisely." Nice that you have that Carver sitting in the wings as well...
'bay the Bose and plow the profits back into a sub. Those series V's can fetch some good prices.More later,

Thanks for all the kind words and thanks for the welcome wagon! I am giddy like a school girl.
I am a crazy Indiana University fan tour2ma. I thought it was time for Knight to go but I hated to see him go like he did. I am glad for him that he found a good place to coach. Texas Tech will be amazed at how much money he will donate. He generated millions of dollars for the IU library. -
