Silver or Copper

In the event that i do upgrade my cables, what difference would it make if i choose silver or copper. I can get steals on WBT-RCA connectors over here. The NextGen Ag looks mighty fine and the copper version Cu is also a looker. Anyone using these with any interconnects. I see the WBT-147 being used by a lot of cable manufacturers for their midline products. Should i just go with the status quo or consider the NextGen series.

Disaeur, silver and copper are the metals having the highest electrical conductivity. Silver is slightly higher, but the difference is so small as to be negligible. So there's no real world difference except that the much higher cost of silver can't be justified. Copper is an ideal metal for this purpose and its relatively low cost allows cables which meet all requirements to be available for less than $1 a foot.

Of course, those $1 a foot cables are basically the same as the OEM crap that some makers include with the piece of gear.
Silver cables are generally brighter sounding than copper, so if your system sounds dark or vailed you might want to try silver. Otherwise, copper is the mainstay.Political Correctness'.........defined

Want to try some killer cables that don't cost alot? Try Kimber Kable Heros. They are fantastic and I don't think they can be beat at there price point.
