CDs, Albums (vinyl), Tapes, Box sets, duplicates... whatever...

If you add them all up, who is the top dog in your collection? Surprised? I was.

I would have thought David Bowie for me, but turns out to be Neil Young by a C-90 with a total of 16...
More later,

LOL! That was pretty easy - I just alphabetized all my media about six weeks ago:

John Mayall - 22 (with 3 dupes in various media, and counting DVD)
Jimi Hendrix - 18 (primarily due to remastered boxed set on vinyl)
    Robert Cray - 14 (2 dupes)
    Bonnie Raitt - 12 (3 dupes)
    Jackson Browne - 11 (2 dupes)

I knew the top 2 without even checking and was pretty sure about 3 and 4...Just needed to count to get the exact total...

    Jimmy Buffett - 30
    Jackson Browne - 18
    Eagles - 11
    Led Zeppelin - 9

Its good to see other CP members listening to some awesome musicians.

    1. Led Zeppelin
    2. Pink Floyd
    3. AC/DC

Could just as easily switch 1 and 2. I have alot of "off the beaten path" stuff on both.

Not at home to count, but can call this one fairly accurately.

    Van Halen (not Van Hagar)
    AC/DC
    Rush
    The Beatles
    Iron Maiden
    Judas Priest
    Led Zeppelin
    Rolling Stones
    Pink Floyd
    Miles Davis
    Willie Nelson
    Johnny Cash

All at, approaching, or over 20 easily.

    Cheers,

I'd be too close a call to list just one, these 3 are tied for first place. I'd lean towards Duran Duran as I have most everything they've ever done, including most all of their underground works.

    Duran Duran
    Depeche Mode
    Oingo Boingo

Without counting I'm sure The Beatles win easy here as I have all of my original vinyl plus most but not all of their EP's and all of the CD's! I don't know what the order would be but Hendrix, Springsteen, N. Young, B.B. King, Robert Cray, Marvin Gaye and SRV take up a lot of room in my collection.

Edit: I forgot that I have a lot of Eric Clapton!
