    Americans are used to buying a car, putting gas in it and it goes forever without problems.

    That's the success of Toyota and Honda. All you do is put gas in it and drive it.

    Reliability, reliability, reliability is the ante that American car manufacturers cannot seem to put on the table and that's the reason GM does not have one car in the top ten automobiles sold.

    The items that sell the most aren't automatically good.

    Take Bose for example. They sell far more speakers than most companies. Doesn't mean they're good. :rolleyes:

    True, but there have been compact pickups for eons. Nissan was the first to come out with them and with gas $15/gallon across the pond youd think the Nissans would be selling like hotcakes and not the gas guzzling F150's. Still they continue to be top sellers.

    Isnt the 2nd most selling vehicle in history the VW Bug?
