I'm startin to get that feelin again.... like... like the Pats coudl be in for number four... all the injuries are clearin up, some of the rookies are maturing, team chemistry is building ... they're clickin... better watch out for those "lowly Pats" in the playoffs :)
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Does anyone have coverage of Pitt/Minn? Direct TV is strange because they do not cover the game on any broadcast channel but do have it on the season pass. Is the game covered by CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox or who is left??

Pitt/ Minn is on CBS. The visitiing team's conference sets whether CBS (AFC) or Fox (NFC) gets the game. ABC has MNF. ESPN SNF. NBC has bupkis...

    At the half:
    - Stupid Texans are blowing the rights to Reggie...
    - Bolts over the Colts...

Seahawks win a close one. Their defense did not show up ready to play today. A win is a win though.

And, Colts are about to lose. No more undefeated prospect.

So, what do the Colts do now, heading into a Sunday game into Seattle? Do you sit the key starters, knowing you have home field throughout the playoffs, and not risk injury? Or, do you play the team you want to be playing in the Superbowl, and let them get some quality get-to-know-you time with a potential Superbowl date?

I was really hoping they'd still be undefeated coming into Seattle.

HaHAAAA, good to see the return of the Peyton Manning face.

I think Dungee should play his starters for about a half of each fo the remaining games, to keep them "on their game", but to limit the chance of injury. Just my two cents.

I've never been a Cowboys fan, goes way back to them beat the living dog **** outta the Broncos in '77(Broncos first Super Bowl), but even I felt sorry for them. Some really nasty looking injuries toward the end for both teams...sure hope neither is serious.

The Cowboys have been up and down this year, not nearly consistant enough. Lots of talent but they can't seem to gel on the same day.

Sad people want their teams to tank games so they can rest their hopes on draft picks to turn their teams around. When has that ever worked?

*edit* and I have one of those teams that people talk about the same thing with.

Climb down, Demi... I never said anything about tanking or hoping they'd lose. Just observed the reality of the outcomes vis-a-vis the draft.

Tanking is a topic at some point every year. Added notice this year is due to the talent at the end of the slide. I am not aware of an NFL team that has ever taken the "tank" approach. However, I am aware of several teams that built dynasties via the draft.

NBA? Different story. It's why they instituted the lottery.

    Folks...

    I tell you what...

If the Bears get an offense next year and keep their current Defense...

Ill put money on they will make the Soopabowl...

Heck, if they can limit peoples points and turn the other teams quarterback's bad throws into points - they could go this year.

Their Defense is absolutely amazing, they way they stop the run, the pass, and just knock the living crap out of people is AMAZING... I'm thoroughly impressed with them...

Oh, I noticed a few folks complaining about winning a game because of their draft positions. Consequently I hear a lot of people saying the same junk on the radio around here. I'm just merely saying, resting your hopes on high draft picks is a sure fire way to continue losing. 1 player won't make your roster, that's all I meant to say, at least not an unproven NFL player. A seasoned vet might make a big impact. NFL is a different animal. Reggie Bush might be great, but he may also amount to nothing, such is the case so often. Injuries, not being able to make the transition, etc.

Teams can do great in the draft. Often it's what you see in someone that nobody else does. We had the master at draft manipulation for years and did quite well. I'm just pointing out that the history for the #1 #1s not being so hot...

    Thats what I am saying...

But them winning all these games on a defense alone pretty much is pretty freaking impressive, you gotta admit that...
