Check out the trailer in high def for the new x-men movie. Looks to be a great one. (after a dissapointing first movie and excellent second one)

I can't wait for this one to come out. X-Men, Dark Phoenix, Wolverine what more does a movie need? (ok, no comments from the peanut gallery)

Media Player Classic in conjunction with Quicktime Alternative (and, even more importantly, RealPlayer Alternative) is the way to go, my man.

Looks badass! I see Juggernaut is in this one. SWEET! I hope Cyclops gets more blasting action than in the first 2. He was wasted.

    Good stuff.

It looks to better better than I was expecting, but I've been fooled by well-cut trailers before. I don't have the best of confidence in Brett Ratner, but hopefully the excellent cast and a good (hopefully) script will make for a good time. The all-out mutant action looks promising.

I never got into the Xmen comics, but I have loved the 2 movies.

Please give me a run down on the new characters (AKA Phoenix) & tell me if Sir Ian Mcullum (sp) is returning.

The scenery chewing between him & Patrick Stewart is GREAT!!!

    Phoenix:

Gene Gray (the other psycic besides Xavier (Patrick Stewart) - also known as the red head that is engaged to cyclops and wolverine likes) mutates into the next generation after mutants. She becomes an uber-powerful psycic that is almost god like in her powers.

It is a very interested story line since she knows her power is above any other human or mutant on the planet. As she starts to look for purpose in her life, she realises that she cannot take on the concernes of mere mortals since she is so far above them.

I am not sure how the movie will play out the mental struggle she goes though, but it made for great reading when I was a teenager. :)

I had to download a new version of quicktime for it to work for me. Since I was forced into ITunes as well, I uninstalled it and loaded the quicktime alternative that bob suggested. Not only did it work great for me, but I was able to download the 720 progressive trailer to my computer so I don't have any skipping.

    Thanks Bob,

    Michael

The apps that bobman linked to work very well. I gave both of them a try and they work great, no more quicktime for me...

Can't wait until this comes out...

I hope they do Juggernaught right. He is too powerful to be dismissed or to handle one on one. Or even 10 on one.

I LOVED the Phoenix storyline when I was a kid. I read that they downplayed it somewhat for the film. I hope not.
