Actually I am still torn on the polk SRT and the Legacy Focus 20/20 (and corresponding surround speakers). I wish i could hear some in the same room. By chance has anyone had an opportunity to compare these head to head?

Two channel sound is equally important to me (Probably more...) than theater.

It's possible someone here can speak to that comparison, albeit not on a side-by-side basis. Polk HQ has a SRT set up many heard during the recent MD Polkfest.

What are your impressions of your Dad's in 2 ch duty?

BTW: ohskigod, I agreed with you in the above mentioned thread, sometimes it is better to throw water on a flaming thread than gas.

They sound great...powered with some older yamaha / adcom stuff.

Sounds really good, but a friend keeps raving about his legacys but he lives quite far away so i have not heard them and no dealers in the area.

I really like the "airyness" of the SDA system.

Most folks like what they own... thus the reason they own it... (DUH ;) )

You've got another thread from which Bob McG spun off another, so more opinions are flowing now. But always remember that there is only one that matters.
