Use the search function, at the top of the page. We had a recent offer to sell an SRT system a couple of weeks ago. I don't recall specifics. They don't come up for sale very often.

The line starts to the left, WAY down to the left.

No SRT's. I have LSi7's and SDA2A's on the way. I'm originally from western OK. Parents still live there. I like Tulsa and wouldn't mind living there some time.

Did you not find that entire thread to be childish?

I have an idea... Lets try to get any new people that might be interested in our forum to leave with great haste!

I know I am looking for something that is hard to find but wouldn’t this be the place to find it?????

no one argues on other boards? yeah its annoying, but don't tell me it happens no where but here. If just reading that chases away a newbie, then its a newbie we didnt need.

    Hint:

Our club has little to do with who has the most sheckles or outbidding each other for Flea Market sales.

Good Luck in your search though.

I don't get it. What'd he do? All he wants is an SRT system. I didn't think there was a line for them. I didn't think many people wanted to spend that kind of money on them. Maybe I'm wrong?

I don’t understand the attitude on this message board????

My replies before someone had to make an **** of themselves were in good humor. I know I'm not going to find what I am looking for quickly...

I am also confused by someone being upset that I mentioned I would pay more for what I am looking for? What’s wrong with that? Isn't that what this country is founded on? Free enterprise???

I wasn't trying to piss off the people on this board; I just thought talking **** about someone’s father was out of line, especially if the situation has already been hashed out before. I made a simple comment about this in another thread then someone with too much time on their hands had to find out what else I had posted to see who this new guy was (how dare he have an opinion!) and come post some BS on my thread.

BTW: ohskigod, I agreed with you in the above mentioned thread, sometimes it is better to throw water on a flaming thread than gas.

    Hp360,
Just not how it's done around here. We seldom even bid against each other in ebay auctions. We do not bid over items in our Flea Market.

There are two things a newbie can do here to set us off:
    - come in with an attitude, or
    - come in looking for prized Polks.
Some hit the daily double, as far as I am concerned you only scored on #2, which is the lesser offense.

So drop the "WTH did I do" and just roll with it... post... ask and answer questions... participate... Who knows some year you might even get a PM titled "Here are your SRT's".

For starters tell us why you're so hot to trot over the SRT's.
    More later,
    Tour...

I am puting together a thater room and i would like to have a set, my father has owned a SRT system for about 10 years or so and they sound great, but he dosnt wat to part with them. I would just buy them new if they were still being made, but as you know second hand is the only way to go.

Yuppers... and the complete systems are rare.

CS1000p's are seen a few times a year (there's one on ebay now). I even have a pair of RT f/x's, the original surrounds. The towers and subs are the rare birds. The control boxes may be the rarest of all. I only recall seeing one of those offered separately.

Point being you may want to collect pieces as they float by. Should you ever bag a whole system, then you either have spares or can sell them off.

What's your Dad drive his system with?

    Dude,

I agree with you this is a free country and I don't have a problem with you coming in here and asking for the set. I would bet that if a set were put up for sale here very few could afford or even make an attempt to buy them at a given price. The person listing them would have to endure countless BS thread responses and in the long run probably have to go somewhere else to sell them. If I had a set and your offer was for more that I asked for or was offered they would be yours in a heartbeat. Stay awhile and get your learn on, your set will show up eventually if not here on eBay or Audiogon, for some reason they always do.
