Happy SDA 1.2s!!

Thanks to aequitas, I'm the new owner of a nice Carver 4.0t amplifier (formerly owned by Mr. Troy). This is replacing a Carver 1.0t. The SDas just love all the power you can throw at them. The 4.0t is giving greater bass extension and better soundstage than the 1.0t did.
Now the HT rig is becoming more musical, although I still give the edge to my bedroom rig (SDA 1Cs powered by a Phase Linear 400).
Woohoo, SDA goodness everywhere!
Also a big thanks to peersool, who drove down from Chi-town today and purchased my RTA15TLs. I may regret selling them that cheap. Enjoy 'em!

Congrats on the great system! You'll love the Carver with the SDA's. I had the TFM-45 driving the 1.2's and they sounded great! A devious South Carolina summer lightning bolt took its toll on the amp, otherwise it would still be singin'.

Victor,
Did you get the desired bass response from the 15s?"SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

I still wish you had the room to get the SDAs, but I'm sure that the 15s sounds wonderful. I'm very glad that you're pleased.
I'll try to make it up to Chitown, soon, to see you, Rich, and Norm."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

I want to hear that McAlister with the MLP. I just HAVE to know. We both have the MLP and SRS 2s, so the only thing, besides the room, would be the ICs and speaker cables if I were to get one."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

My ears were ringing...I felt a draft. I got all kinds of nominations lately. A local guy wants me to crew chief for his alky funny car next year. The Farmer's car will need to be wired for his comeback next year and he would like to have me back as cc. What to do.....
I'm not sure how much longer the MLP will be here Noel. My pre should be completed early next week. I may just drive up there to get it. A forum member here has dibs on the MLP and I'll need to move that soon. I also added .1uf and 1.0uf caps to one crossover to make exact values (4.4uf and 40uf) and would like to see if someone could hear a difference between the two.
Congrats on the Carver aquisition polksda. And thanks for maintaining the polksda site. I can't tell you how many times I have referred to it looking for information.

Hey Victor,
Try a Carver C-9 on 'em and see (hear) what you think.
Just an idea.
