Do LSi7s require much, if any break in?

I thought my first set of LSi7's sounded better after some break in. The ring radiating tweeter seems to benifit a noticable amount, but I didn't notice a huge amount on the woofer. The replacement woofers in my "new" 7's might still need a little time to break in. I haven't listened to them much and they seem to lack a little of the low end I remembered with my old ones.

Hard for me to put an hour figure on it, but they do take some time to break in. I was fairly dissapointed in the sound from the LSi7's upon first opening the box. Sounded much better after a week or so. (playing them 4 or so hours a night and 12 or so hours on the weekends. - mixture of radio and movies)

I feel like the highs are as they were with my 9s that were broken in, its just that the mids/lows seem really really thin. Thinner than my RTi38s by so much it seems unnatural. I'm thinking this woof needs to loosen up.

Yeah, those 7's will need some time to break in. Maybe 20-30 hours. Maybe more. I dunno. Hard to tell. Depends on your ear. However, you should experience a noticeable improvement over time.
