That was absolutely awesome! I wouldn't mind if my neighbor put something like that up. That way, if he pissed me off, I could threaten to cut the wires in his yard at night! :D

I can't imagine how long it took to do that - Ive done stop motion with legos but, it was never that complex (at least I think it is stop motion. Doing that in real time would be freakin amazing)

In case you're wondering, that is the Trans-Siberian Orchestra that is blasting in the background. Saw em on PBS and they totally floored me:

For those that don't know, Trans-Siberian Orchestra is the brainchild of John Oliva, one of the founding members of the group "Savatage". Actually, the song linked above, while being a version of the Carol of the Bells, is entitled "Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24)" from their 1995 concept rock opera "Dead Winter Dead". Phenomenal discography if you're into melodic heavy metal. Their material from the '90s includes some wonderful orchestration.

If you really want a trip, you need to check out the song "Chance" from the 1994 CD "Handful of Rain". It's the modern equivalent to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody".

    cnjvh ,

    Man, I owe ya one..!

I just got tickets to the next show for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in Sacramento next Saturday at 3pm..!!

The killer light show inspired me to actually go out and see this music played in person.

The first live show of any kind that I have attended since Boney James a few years ago..

    Should be fun..!!
