I have a rt3000p speaker that cuts in and out. i have checked all the connections. i have tried hooking it up via the speaker imputs and the lfe imputs both the filtered and unfiltered. it works then cuts out. At first i thought i thought it was just the light on the front of the speaker but the speaker cuts in and out also. i tested it playing music and compared it to the other speaker that is working fine. The speaker sounds fine when it works. Has any one else had this problem. I am looking for suggestions other than the connections them self i already ruled that out. Any other technical suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can't say I've had this problem and it does sound like the problem is within the amp. Someone from Polk CS will probably help you out this coming week.

Do you have the amp on auto sense? I found problem with that with my setup if I didn't have the levels up really high on my receiver. It wouldn't have high enough voltage from the receiver and wouldn't come on, or would only during really loud scenes.
