Doro has suggested, and I concur, that a get together at the Ram's Head Tavern in Annapolis would be cool.

I've purchased 8 tickets at 2 adjoining tables of 4.
BOOKED! Party on!

Chris Duarte
Wednesday February 1, 2006
8:00 p.m.
$19.50 (approx. $22.50 after the ticket mongers do their thing)

In 1979, at the age of 16, Duarte moved on his own to Austin “and bought a ‘63 Stratocaster for $500.” He initially explored his love for the jazz of Coltrane, Miles Davis and John McLaughlin, but enjoyed a blues epiphany when he heard the then largely-unknown Stevie Ray Vaughan at the Continental Club. “Blues was king in Austin,” Duarte recalls, and he soon earned a virtual Ph.D in blues music. Playing with Texas favorites like Bobby Mack & Night Train and Junior Medlow & The Bad Boys, he quickly earned a rep as a hot new gun in a town with an army of guitar talents.

Table 109 - tickets purchased
1. Mike (BlueMdPicker) Paid
2. Sandy (audio-filly) Paid
3. Jesse (F1nut) Paid
4. Mark (Doro) Paid
Table 110 - tickets purchased
5. William (W Waldecker)
6. John (john d. strong) Paid
7. Bill (ardvark1)
8. Chuck (madmax) Paid

    BDT,

Next time you're through the area, we'll make it over there for sure. I've never been to a bad performance there in any genre.

How bad will the smoke be? If bad, count us out, if you can see 30', count my wife and I in... Check that, I should probably run it by her first but I'll bet she's kosher with it.

I'm asthmatic with bad allergies and still smoke. There's no smoking in the club, I knew what you meant (I was referring to Jesse, myself, and any other heathens.) So, are you in?

I'd go for it, but I don't live in the area. And I don't know what the schedule is going to be then. Sounds like an excellent time, have fun...

Since I work in Annapolis and this place is probably 5 minutes from work, I might as well climb aboard and join you nice folks. Put me in whatever spot is open and I'll send you a PM to swap $$$ for ticket.

Here is a very nice teaser review by a music lover in Orlando, FL.

I couldn't agree more! If you like blues, rock, and someone as innovative as Hendrix, this guy will have you walking away smiling.

I knew there was a reason I avoided this one. :)

J/K, I'm so overwhelmed with stuff right now I'm not committing to anything else for a little while.
