I have always liked cats , that was 'till we found Willow. Now I say I'm a dog person. If I could have my cake.....I would also get a cat.

    Both.

I have a cat that I adopted from the Humane Society when he was 7 weeks old, abused by the previous owners. He's really in a class of his own, and a complete character. He changed my opinions of cats, I never was too fond of them. This one always wants to play, and believe it or not he's almost as obedient as my dog.

My dog, Golden Retriever. They are man's best friend, indeed. He wants to go everywhere with me and is just an overall pleasure to be around. He's a good hunting partner too, in all honesty that's the best time I have. I've always liked dogs because they seem to be able to sense emotion. They know when you're sad and when you're not feeling well, I like that about them.

With dogs, I got to have them be big dogs. I'm not a big fan of the little 'yippy' ones, they're just annoying to me. =\

Dog person myself, I don't like cats much. I don't mind others having them as long as they keep them in their house / yard like I do with my dogs.

That reminds me, i hate when neighbors' cats sit atop my wall and taunt my pup. fuccin' cats act all tough when they're outside my pup's reach. i wanna sneak up on it and push it off the wall into my dog's area. then we'll see what's up. plus them damned cats keep setting off my motion sensors around my house. but cat's are cool, none the less.

Sorry, but I have a Jack Russell Terrorist and a cat and even though my cat's front claws are gone, she can still whip my dogs ****. If Scout had her claws, Daisy would have been shredded to pieces more than a few times ;) .

Bizill, if I were you, I wouldn't go pushing the neighbors cat over into your dog's area, because if the dog corners the cat, the dog is going to get hurt. :)

This seems like a good a place to mention this as any...

Recently while on a road trip I stayed with TWO different people with pugs... what strange dogs. The first one was definitely cute, the second... well, let's just say we nicknamed him "nature's mistake." He couldn't even breathe right. Truly an abomination of nature.

    The cute one :

I adore cats when they're other people's but I wouldn't keep one as my own pet. They run away too easy when you want to pick'm up.

Nope, happens to the owners too. But for me, maybe, I used to spray cats with a hose when they annoyed me while I was riding my bike earlier. :)
