Need help for where to put subwoofers.

Hey guys, im new and this is the only forum I could find that looked worthy of posting on. I have done searches for hours and hours and I sitll cant find anything. Im 16 and I have a 1999 Toyota Tacoma EXT Cab. I recently got 12inch subs however there is no room for them. I have seen box's all over the place but I really need the room in the cab. One of my friends said there was a way of modifying it so I could put a external box or something on the bed of the truck and it would connect to the inside cab. Im just wondering how that would work. I know it has been done before because I saw pics awhile ago. Any help would be appreciated. (Money isnt an issue)
