PSW 150 - blown fuse

I have a few year old PSW 150 that is not used to frequently and it will not power up. I opened the back and found a blown fuse (250V 2.5 amp). I replaced the fuse and upon trying to power it up the speaker made a thump sound and blew the new fuse.
There aren't many hours on this speaker, so would like to avoid buying a new one... how should I go about fixing this situation? Thanks.

Seems like blown woofer fuses happen alot.
