Need help making RCA cable for Sub

Moved in to my new house a few months back but finally got around to putting in my surround sound speakers this past weekend. Picked up the RM6800 package and wired everything up fine until I got to the sub. The builders put a coax cable as well as a 2 pair speaker cable in the location for the Sub. I've read you can make an rca cable from the Coax but I was wondering if that was the only option or the best option I have. Not really sure where to start with the 2 pair speaker wire in the wall. Can this also be made into an rca cable? Thought about fishing through a new wire but am worried about getting stuck halfway through the wall and then having nothing to connect the sub with.
Any help is appreciated

Use the coax wire. It's perfect for sub runs. Go to radioshack and buy F to RCA adapters for both ends. The coax wire needs to be terminated first with a F connector.Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
This is how I made my own. I find it actually sounds better then my AR "sub" cable. I used RG6.
