On both the cs245i and rt35i boxes:
"Polk Audio loudspeakers are constructed with the highest quality materials and components sourced from around the world. This product was designed and engineered by Polk Audio, Inc. at its reasearch facilities located in Maryland (USA).
It was assembled at a Polk Audio assembly facility located in Baja Ca, Mexico, using components made in the USA, Japan, Germany, Mexico, & Taiwan, and may also contain parts or components from one or more of the following other countries: United Kingdom, Thailand, Hong Kong, Korea."

It seems to me that the older Polks which were made in the U.S. are just made better and stronger. But......, since I live here and since plastics play sooooooooooooooooo much a part of pretty much everything that's made, I suppose................. Not to mention cheaper to build, no, I'm not getting on my soapbox.
I CAN'T HELP IT!!!!!!!!!! I STILL LOVE POLK SPEAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a installer I should think you would know best how to make your Polk system sound to please your ear. As a matter of fact I would like to ask you a couple of questions.
