I hope this is not stupid question. I just setup new Csi5 Center speaker. Is the output from the (2) 6-1/2" Diameter Cones supposed to be equal? The left side seems to have more low frequency & the right side seems to be louder & higher frequency. Thanks in advance.

this is normal. It's what they call cascade tapered technology. One woofer rolls over to the bass lower than the other. Perfectly normal. Welcome to the forums bofredtx.

Cascade tapered array makes a big difference. It's the main reason I upgraded from RT2000's to RT3000's. The 2000's only had 1 6 1/2 mid driver which left a lot to be desired in midrange performance. Polk used to have an explanation of this technology on their website. Seems to have disappeared with the deployment of the new site. Wish they'd post it back out there. The only thing available now is this quote "Cascade Tapered Array provides wide angle dispersion insuring high quality sound for off-axis listeners. "

Here's the link for an explanation on Cascade Tapered Array. Just in a new location now.
