Sorry to hear that. You've missed out on some really good baseball these past several years.

Ill still catch a game from time to time but dont follow it as much. Hell I dont really follow any sport other than NASCAR that much anymore, not even NFL.

Maybe its just jealousy. Im a horrible athlete! ;)

Hell yeah! Cant wait! Hoping Jimmy can fend off Tony again but I dont think so. Right now, Tony is the best on the circuit and if he has a good car and doesnt get caught in any wrecks, he's unstoppable.

Sorry for the derail Noel. ;)

    Congrats to the Sox.

They were the better team, and they were playing like it for sure. Figures Freddy Garcia gets insanely better once he leaves the Mariners.

You gotta feel bad for Frank Thomas though. I mean, the guy has been the franchise for so long and doesn't even get to play in the series. Oh well, he was part of the success.

And, Edgar Martinez, along with that **** Arod, was named to the All-Latino team in a ceremony before the game.

    Go Sox!

As soon as they won the game last night, everyone in the area cheered. Cars were driving down Clark St. honking, people were cheering and yelling at all of the bars, people in apartments were celebrating. It was an awesome experience. Now all of the original Sox fans are sending out the attached forms to Cubs fans for their conversion to the Sox. I've always leaned more towards the Cubs, but it's just great to have Chicago win the series.

I'm a die-hard Cub fan, but I congratulate the White Sox on a great post-season series. They are definetly the better team. I'm happy for the city of Chicago since the last time anything this exciting happened was when that famous basketball player......what was his name Matt Jenkins...no that's not it....uhm....maybe Mitchell Jackson...no that's not it....oh I know...Michael Jordan helped us win so many championships. So this is great excitement for the city.

My wife is a die hard Cubs fan. Hates the Sox. I went to a Sox game earlier this year and I've been a fan ever since. I'm very happy that the Sox won.

that is what it was like here is boston last year, everyone was high-fiving complete strangers and spontaneous cheers were going up at just about every street corner we passed. definately one of the cooler things i have seen!

congrats to the sox on a great season...i dont think i was the only one who thought they were done with in august.

I am so very happy, grew up in a Southside city neighborhood of Chicago, attended High School and College there, since I was 5 yrs. old I have waited for this to really happen.

Its a wonderful thing for us SOX fans.

Great achievment by the SOX; I am particularly excited because Freddy Garcia and Oswaldo (Ozzie) Guillen are from Venezuela..... feels good to know we are exporting some talent (that includes me, of course...:))

Unbelievable turnout all along the parade route today. There were thousands of people celebrating downtown.
