    Sorry Andrew! :D Don't know what's killing about my statement. I really do like both formats, but I have gotten mixed results with SACD's but I haven't come across a flaky DVD-A yet!

    I just ordered the 1812 Overture DVD-A edition. Should have it in a few days.

    It got mixed reviews over at Amazon. We shall see!

    I wonder if there's a problem with the SACD version because the DVD-A/DTS version is nothing short of heart stopping.

    No problems with the SACD or CD layers on my disc. In fact, the dynamics are quite amazing.

    Polkitup2,

    My current signal path:
    source ->
    pre ->
    active crossover ->

    -> Simaudio W-3 -> Dynaudio Contour S 1.4
    -> two SVS PC-Ultras

    I am curious, try this disc again with your new setup and let us know if it there are any differences.
