Pair of ASL Wave 8's, 6BM8 push-pull 8w/cont. Will ship with 2 complete sets of tubes, Svetlana and Ei. Optional cages included. Modded with Sonicaps, which made a substantial difference in the low end punch, and really opened up the top end. Brushed Aluminum facia are clean, a couple minor paint flecks on the power / output trannies - easily touched up, not visible with cages on.

Front power on switch / led, rear IEC power, binding post, tiffany RCA input. No biasing (cathode) - turn em' on and go.

The best sounding 'small' amps I've ever heard. Making room for some VAC's, so the little ones need to go.

***SOLD***

Cheers,
Russ

(I will also be listing a pair of Wave 20's shortly - push pull 6L6 25w)

I don't do dibs, sorry. First person to say they are 'IN' gets them.

I meant what I said in the email Michael re: the 8's. Hope you can get something worked out, before someone else does.

Chuck, as stated, those were the 20's (which I will also be listing, un-modded - Noel, Bi-amp? - hint, hint). BUT, the small black stereo amp - the Radii, that was in the same room - in a nutshell, 2 of the Wave 8 mono's on a single chassis, sharing a power tranny.

Michael, do what you need to do, and just get back to me as soon as you can, one way or the other. These are a no-brainer on price, and ease of use. A GREAT way to get 'into' tubes, without the biasing hassels - and good sound to boot. These will go toe to toe, with ANY, and I mean ANY small push-pull amps on the planet.

I've been thinking to myself OVER and OVER tonight - I've got to have a place I can use these, but I just don't.

    Cheers,
    Russ

I'd be interested in them since i dont have a tube setup yet...
    What are the specifications?
    SRT For Life; SDA Forever!

    The SRT SEISMIC System:
Four main satellite speakers, six powered subs, two dedicated for LFE channel, two center speakers for over/under screen placement and three Control Centers. Amaze your friends, terrorize your neighbors, seize the audio bragging rights for your state. Go ahead, buy it; you only go around once.

8 watts continuous, I want to say with the original caps they were rated 30-17,000 3db down. THD is right at 1% at full power. ASL didn't list any damping stats, I'd bet it's <50.

Looks like **** on paper, but not to the ears. Michael is 'in' at this point - he'll have it finalized tomorrow afternoon, one way or the other.

    Cheers,
    Russ

No, I'll mainly listen at low to moderate volume levels. But I can't tell you how excited I am to finally get some tubes in the line-up!!
