Ya, kid at my school has a freakin Rousch Mustang. Its rediculous wat people will spend for their 16 year old's cars. Nice one though, PTGod shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8

Can't wait for the after. I love the new stang (hated the last one). I'm a big stang fan (a 74 was my first car. piece of crap and one of the ugliest they made, but I still loved it).
You also need to put on a nice saleen wing and maybe some 20" wheels?!? I'm still debating if I should run out and get a new saleen. They're just a bit pricey. With the shelby coming out under $40k (so they say) and more HP than the saleen, I wounder if saleen will drop thier price?Denon AVR-3803

My first was a '77 Cobra II, loved that car.
I don't want any non-functional stick-on wings or scoops. I thought about big wheels, but I don't want to increase rotational mass and sacrifice too much comfort, also can't afford a brake upgrade yet. -
i am not much of one for mustangs.........but with the correct upgrades to the body and engine, i'd love to cruise the strip with you, bro!!

what does it do down the quater mile?

as per my previous question i mean, have you raced it down the quater mile as is? (before the mods)

Seeing as how he just got it, I'd doubt it. However, if memory serves me correctly, it should do it in about 12.5 seconds. No more than 13.5 IIRC.George Grand wrote: »

Stock GT's run in the mid to high 13's. I hoping to break into the 12's after the SC install.
She's going under the knife on Wednesday. There will be a warranty burning ceremony on Tuesday night, weather permitting. -
Nice looking ride PT. Have you pushed any G's in the curves with it yet? If so, how does it handle? I've read where the newer models tend towards a slight oversteer versus the '04's understeer tendencies.

It handles very well, which is a compliment coming from me, since my last two new cars were BMW 3-series. Drifting* around a corner feels very good. You feel more in control than drifting in a fox body Mustang.
However, I have experienced occasional wheel hop when burning out from a dead stop (this can be cured with aftermarket LCA's). My other complaint is the throw on the shifter is way too long for racing, feels like I'm rowing a boat when making a 6k shift from first to second. I may go with a Hurst shifter.
This car has a huge fun factor, its very hard to keep your foot out of it. I think this is the best quality interior Ford has made for the Stang in a long time.
The trunk is not "big subwoofer friendly". Its going to be extremely difficult to get my two Polk 15's mounted in there.

I guess I liked the Cobra II too. I remember them as being white with either red or blue stripes. Very cool. I always thought that one of those with a 351 in it would be the ****.

Farrah drove one of those in Charlie's Angels. That alone makes it "Semi-worthy" of mention, although, the Mustang IIs as a whole were blasphemous to the true Mustang cultist."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

i haven't had the urge to get my tires sticky in a long time, but seeing these on the road's getting to me. i had a '69 fastback and a [sniff] '70 mach I. my mach was something close to the color of pt's.
i think the classic cragar s/s look wheels are a good fit. if they weren't *the* most popular wheels back in those days, they must have been one of the most popular, and,uh,mine had them too.

You would have liked mine then, white with red stripes, 302 with 351 heads, etc. Left front wheel came off the ground on launch. Looked mostly like this: -

Yep, my buddies called it the Pinto II, but I had the fastest car so I always got the last laugh. -
13s is quite impressive for the stock model, i have a 1300 (actualy its a rx7 series 2, with a 13b in it) that does 13.3 sec @ 175kph, it has the potential to do 12s with that kph, but i have to improve my driving.
but im sure i'll get there (one day), i bet you cant wait to get your baby going:) -

Man, that's so much fun. And it's right easy in my Jeep, too. Way too easy when the roads are wet, though. I (now) put her in 4wd when the roads are wet.George Grand wrote: »
