Might be too early but this could be a fun thread. If everything goes well I'm gonna get myself a Jolida tubed CD player.

I should probably go easy this year... I'm thinking I've already bought myself enough christmas and birthday presents for a few years to come :p Once I get my nad cdp my 2 ch system theoretically should be done (for a while anyways), but I think after I get started on these diy speakers I want to build I might have to keep some for a while. I could always get some better gear for my ht setup but I hardly have time for movies anymore.

I might just grab a couple new cd's and enjoy what I have already ;)

As of about July I already overspent my birthday and christmas presents. The phono pre, A3CR pre, Cartridge and a PDA. Christmas will be spent very minimally. I plan on sitting around with no lights or heat on this year. I will be sitting around the warm tube amps and navigating via the orange glow with the vinyl spinning. :)

If I could swing it , a Escient Fireball DVDM300 and a Sony es 400 disc 777es mega changer for dvd management. The fireball 300 also does intranet radio as well as control 2 more dvd changers. You can have MP-150e clients up to 5 for cd/audio sharing around the house. Using the internal harddrive to store music and listen to the same song in 5 different zones at 5 different times.Very cool and I want it.

    My X-mas list:

Stereo or Monoblock amps or a Black Krell Integrated or a Tube Pre-Amp

No particular order and I think about them quite often, whether or not I get any of it is still up in the air at this time.
Denon #2900, Denon stereo receiver, Conrad Johnson Sonographe 120 amp, Blue Jeans cables, and Klipsch RF-7's

Get the tubed pre first, so you can see what we discussed about the CJ with tubes in front of it.

Hey Pat, spasticbull has a decent tubed pre in the flea market for sale. Looks to be a very fair price also. I would have nabbed it for my other 2 channel rig if it had a remote. You might want to try it out. If I remember, it is only $300 shipped. It also comes with a couple of Monster Ultras.

Well let's see, thought about another new receiver and new speakers, but kinda hard to do that being what I have now works well and the $$$ can be used for other life matters. The raise I am still waiting for would be nice.
