    Retarded question, but very important: would this room be more for watching movies or listening to music? I know you have a plasma and all, but if you listen to more music than you watch movies, I would recommend a setup more geared towards music.

    Topic at hand, this whole thread is another waste of bandwith and borderline trollish. If the guy listens to the bose setup and likes it more than the LSi, well than great for him. Probably 9,999 out of 10K would disagree with him but that's his business. If not, he's just trying to be a troll.

    For that much scratch, I would hope you would go out and do substantial listening and demos and decide for yourself.

    Original poster: Go out and listen to some sets of speaks at your local B&M and see what you like, then come back and let us know. Then we can help with some suggestions.

    Want a polk line that fits all you're trying to do? LC265i's or LC65i's all around with an IB or SVS cofee table sub.
