I just purchased a psw10bk, it doesn't have a LFE IN but does have a L & R input. The salesperson at the store said that i can split the preamp out on my reciever and it will work fine. Is this true?:(

Just to a y splitter and a single subwoofer cable.

Dan's way will work fine too...I think it just increases your output a few db's if you use a y splitter.

SJ, welcome. As the previous replies indicate, either one or both of the inputs can be connected(they join inside the sub). Since the sub output on most receivers has enough output even when feeding just one of the sub's inputs, try that first, as Dan suggested. One further suggestion, since there's no LFE input to bypass the sub's internal crossover, turn the control all the way up to 200Hz to get it as far out of the way as possible of the crossover which your receiver will be handling.
