yes on the rotation of the drivers 180 degrees to get the mirror image, on the wire you make all the wire the same lenght, and the same kind of wire on the inside of the speakers and the outside of speakers. the out side wires make the same length to your mains as to the length to the srounds, center, and rear center. the inside of the speakers the wire length should be the same to all the drivers, so as to have the speaker wire from amp to each driver be the same length.

this is a cheap upgrade tweek , it takes same time to do but it will make a diffrence , and it will be a balance system. and wend you listen to a speaker it sounds diffeant on one side than the other side it is because of the electial coming in on the + side and leaving on the - side it makes a sonic differance from one side to the other.

    Hunter,

Keep the useful/good RT800i tweaks and advice coming.
I do greatly appreciate your efforts and your posts.
I am considering the x-over swap that you performed.
Are the results THAT good? Would you do it again?

    Thanks

    rskarvan,
I appreciate your interest in the rt800i xover tweek it turned out great. That is about as much as I will say about this since it is off this topic. If you have questions about that, post to that topic and I will reply. I am sorry but the other xover topic got so far off of the subject with posts from people who are looking to get into a pissing match. Although it has already started here I won't let it continue. I won't discuss anything that is off this topic. For those who are truely interested in the results and what to discuss possible problems that may be encountered or ideas that can make it better, then great! If for some reason it does get out of control then I will just end it and do it on my own.

    Hey Joe,

I appreciate the input and may put to test once the tweeter replacement has been performed. I don't want to cloud the results of the tweeter upgrade with an additional tweek.

Maybe I'm just not getting what you're saying, but I fail to see how this would provide any improvement.
