I was wondering if this is a problem.
They are sl2500's one of them seems to be coated all the way through leaving a shiny appearance and the other one appears to be coated halfway. I detect nothing different with the sound so I dont know what to make of this other than the way it looks. Should I have these replaced or not?

The replacement tweeter to use should you need to replace, is the RD0194-1. I have heard they are a better replacement than the originals.

I took a picture and what you can see is that the coating is from the top to the sides forming an inverted U shape. The other tweeter is completely coated.
