Analog out, or digital?

So I picked up a Toshiba SD-4700 DVD-A player tonight (open box, $100 off, couldn't resist).
Now, when my Arcam AVR-200 comes in, am I going to use the 5.1 inputs for the DVD-Video content? Or do I want the Arcam to do the D/A?
Looks like I'll have to do some listening sessions.

You answered your own question, good thinkingDan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
If I was to guess, I'd say you'd want to use your digital connection for DVD-V discs. I'd still try it both ways, though.

Digital will give you the better video quality, but I agree with Aaron, try it both ways and see what suits your tasted the best.
