ND13, be very glad its a lease. It sucks trying to sell a car and disclose it was in a wreck. Glad you're OK.

Oh , I know, I'm a used car manager and have been in the biz for 15 years.
Thanks for the kind words. Just got a little bump on the noggin from the B-pillar.

That is GOOD karma! Bad karma is getting hit by an 18 wheeler hauling sewage or having a garbage truck roll over on you.

    Karma that is....

I've been pretty good about keeping a positive spin on this whole Karma thingee.........so I thought.

I'm on my way to work this morning, driving my `05 Dakota instead of the `95 Chevy, and have have a wreck. You know, it really wouldn't have bothered me if it would have been any other day. But it had to be the day that I decide to take the NEW truck. 3783 miles!!!! The Chevy, which is very clean, has over 270K on it.

Luckily I'm leasing the Dakota, it technically is Chrysler's, and I only have another 18-19 months left. The thing that worries me is that, even though, this is my first wreck, the insurance company will likely double my premiums  .

Just when I thought things were looking up and I was actually semi-happy, life has a way of kicking a man right square in the balls. I guess that just goes to show why I've always been content with just being content.

    Maz,
That was a good one.....

My younger brother drove the car I sold him underneath a semi-trailer one morning. To this day he refuses to wear a seat belt because he was able to escape injury by throwing himself on the passenger seat floor board.

A relative of mine rolled her SUV one day. She wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was thrown out the drivers side window. The roof collapsed on the SUV and she would've been crushed had she not been thrown. As it stood, she walked away with some nasty bruises, but nothing serious.

That said, I still wear my seatbelt, because I think that they save more lives than not.
    Ludicrous gibs!
