And my Pats look like they're about to lose.... I'm not used to this....

I had a good Fantasy week though. Impressed with Caron Palmer's play in Cincy (and Minny's looking BAAAAD on all sides of the ball). Indy's defense still lookin good, surprisingly, as is Jacksonville's... surprisingly low-scoring game in Indy. And are you kidding me with the Philly / SF game? I guess last week was a fluke for BOTH teams.

oh, and I am praying for a bad season for Pitt and Roethleslskgjdlskjdsj, but htey're looking surprisingly good as well.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Woah, a Bengals fan! (just razzing) I've actually been to a game in Cincy before, but I think it was the old stadium ('95 I think, vs Dolphins - one of the ol' Shula bowls). I also saw them in Indy. It was 'the battle of 1st round running backs' - Marshall Faulk's second year and the beginning of the Kijana Carter 'era.' Bengals won too. I think the Dolphins won the other game.

For today, the Rams survived. How crazy was that ending with the clock running and then the false start to end it? I didn't get to see a lot, but Warner's passing stats looked pretty good (I went to the University of Northern Iowa and was also an Iowa Barnstormer season ticket holder).

Getting prepped for the Chiefs game now!

Alrighty, Chiefs are 2-0! They didn't play perfect by any means, but they did just enough to win (phantom offensive interference calls not-withstanding ;)). I would have liked to have seen Larry Johnson carry the ball more. Priest was not doing well for the most part, and after he had the stinger was really shying away from contact. The Chiefs did a great job of ball control though. They owned it in the 2nd half.

I'm sure Trent Dilfer already has a spot reserved on his mantle for the MVP trophy. :)

Seriously, the Packers losing to the Browns? If the Pack goes 4-12 this year I'll be impressed. Talk about a team on the downward slide.

The Eagles killed the poor 49ers. I'm alittle concerned about the eagles though. They pass a bit to much. I think if they make it to the playoffs or to the big game again, It's going to be a bit easier to beat them. We shall see.

Looks like a sloppy win for the Broncos but I'll take it.

Where are the Ravens fans? Did they all die of heart attacks after screaming at the TV all day?

That was worse then the donkey's last week.

Who's having the worse year, Minny or B'more...

    GO STEELERS!!!!

I'm also glad to see KC win and I still hate Moss!

BTW, why in the hell was the game on ABC in standard broadcast and ESPN also carried in over HDef? I just don't get it...

I assume you're talking about the Sunday night game. When the Sunday night game ("the ESPN game") is local, it's simulcast by your local ABC affiliate - the rest of hte country does not get the game on ABC. (At least that's how it is in my area). So it seems like your local affiliate was just not rebroadcasting the game in HiDef, maybe they didn't have the capability or it was just an error on their part.

I think when ESPN has the rights to a game, they don't let anybody else simulcast in HD. They are required by the NFL to allow the local affiliates to simulcast OTA (and of course over cable), but it doesn't have to be in HD.

Congrats to the Skins and their fans for finally beating my beloved Cowboys. First win in Dallas since 1995.

The Raiiders are really blowin' chunks this year. I am a true fan, and will not give up on them. The Cowboys gave that game away. How the heck did they let the same guy, and the same play kill them. Washington and Dallas is a big rivalry, and I am surprised there wasn't a brawl in the stands.
