    For the computer??

I want to download one onto my laptop, but I don't want one that is ad supported (adware) or contains spyware..

    Thanks in advance

You're really better off avoiding these. They bog down your PC by constantly checking the net, and I've yet to see one that isn't completely overrun with Adware and Spyware, as others have alluded to. Find a good local TV station website, they usually have weather information, as well as satellite imagery and whatnot. Or websites like www.intellicast.com .

Also, people mentioned ad-aware and spybot. FYI, some links to the free versions:
    Ad-Aware SpyBot
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

thanks bobman, you are right. I'm not going to download it.

I could just go to a weather site and get all the info I want w/out downloading a thing... (although I like that little temp box in the lower right taskbar):D

i just use the local forecast from the weather channel. 'by the hour' usually gives me a pretty good idea of what to expect here in central jersey.

If you have Firefox, there is a weather add-on. It is unobtrusive and doesn't use and adware.

For weather, go straight to the source. http://www.noaa.gov/ On the left side, plug in your city and get forecast.

My favorite FREE weather program can be downloaded here:

    http://www.ambientweather.com/

No ads or other annoyances. Load it up when you wish or have it auto load and run in the background (show up in your task bar on a PC). Programmable to weather stations many times within a mile from your home. In fact it you have an amateur weather station you can join their network. Try it you'll like it. Even have it programmed to New Delhi where it is monsoon time so I can see how the weather is where my friendly Dell CSR hangs out.

    Firefox has a weather extention...

Another way is to just bookmark your zip code on www.weather.com
