I still drive my 94 GS and love it (135,000m). It has a little rust in the rear quarters, and I'm debating fixing it ($1800 from my body guy to do it right). But I still think it's a hot looking car (mostly from the front). I wish it had more power, but it's not bad.

We'll see how it's running next year. Then maybe new paint, new rims, fix the rust, and a cranking sound system. (my wife drove it for about 6 yrs, so it now needs a bunch of work).

Not a big fan of them vipers. Not hating on dodge, but I'd take a Z06 over it any day, sure they might accelerate a little slower but they're nicer imo plus they handle better also. either way, i think i'd take the NSX over them both. Sure it may not have as much power, but they're extremely rare and they're simply amazing!

i was reading r&t the other day and stumbled upon a bunch of new models for 08... Esprit (looks kinda like a lambo, imo), Supra, S2000, 350Z and i think the nsx was also mentioned, but like u said, it;ll prolly have a different name. since we're on the topic of new cars, the next gen mustangs are definitely gonna need some getting used to. it looks like something built for space!

I know a guy putting a system in a Viper right now and he had an interesting opinion- "it's a V- 10 Neon." Not a big fan of the fit- and- finish. But the old ones do look mean on the street. Couldn't be much lower or wider...

I'll take the Z06 too, black exterior with red and black leather interior. Now if Chevy would get with the program and produce a paddle shift, I'd sell the wife and kids and get it tomorrow. ;)

The next 18 months are gonna be great for car lovers. New Challenger
    from Dodge. New Camaro/Trans Am.
Screw the SUV hybrid crap. Real cars are on a comeback trail.
I'm hoping GM and Dodge step up to the plate and make these cars
good enough to bring the performance image back to
    American made cars.

I think the real problem is that Americans won't admit that Chevy IS a performance brand. The C5 and C6 Z06s can easily beat Ferraris from the same time periods of their own production. The current Z06 is just as fast if not faster than the Porsche Carrera GT, Lamborghini Murcielago, A number of Ferraris, the Pagani Zonda S, well, we'll just call it fast.

Also, Chevrolet won't flaunt these stats to the general public. A number of my friends had no clue about the Corvette's repeated success in endurance racing because Chevy won't brag.

The cars are definitely good enough, their image is not.

I think that the next NSX looks like a Ferrari Enzo ripoff.

    Not quite my style...

It needs to grow a bed. :);)

Nah, I like the style of the Dodge Viper, the older style...

Why am I not surprised that Trey likes the beast of power. Full out, but lacking refinement....The NSX has always been a great value. A fast, fairly affordable, good looking, RELIABLE, sports car.

My Prelude has been an awesome, reliable car. 124,00 miles...Wish they'd bring it back. Much more of a classic design than the Integra's that fazed them out. Honda's show car of sorts...

Since you will be installing a cam I would personally go for a slightly more aggressive one.....You might as well get a a little more power out of it while you have the egine apart....What intake/filter/exhaust are you thinking of getting?....Oh and the most important thing to get after your done is a dyno/tune

Haha, not trying to. Though it would be nice... I am looking for these but, for my pops.

dad is really just wanting 50 - 100 extra horsepower. He would like the titanium exhaust from the Z06 along with a LS6 intake. Honestly, he has more than enough power already, he hardly ever goes over 90 or so. But, he just can't leave the engine alone. That's why he wants GM parts so there is not a huge hassle with tuning etc.
