Thanks, Dan. I had it for almost a month now. I did several auditions to other brands, and the last one was with SF Domus GP. Cremona is THE ONE for me, and actually the first one and only that gives me goose bump!
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Could you please enlarge your sig for us old guys, PT??? ;):D

It's very hard to decifer and though I was finally able to read it all, I would have to think that several can't. Be proud, be loud, damnit!!!! And add those wonderful SFs to it, too.

It might, actually, be the font you used as much as the size. I just know that if I had some of the gear you have, and used a sig, I would want everyone to be able to read it ;) . I'm not trying to be sarcastic or an ****, either. Just thought you might like it to be a tad bit more legible is all. :)

    polkatese,
The first time I heard them was like 3 years ago at the Audio avideo show in NY. They where playing a live version of Arron Watters. I couldn't believe how good it sounded. Those speakers where very Impressive. I assume your driving them with the Krell??? Do you have the Krell SACD Standard?

    ND13,
I appreciate the comments, and I never took your comments as such. I'll find a different fonts on the next iteration. To be honest, I am tempted to remove my sigs alltogether.

    Dan,
That was the plan, but I've been enjoying it with B&K. I use my modded Philips SACD1000 to provide the source. It is true that SF Cremona is easy to drive, no problem whatsoever driving em with B&K. I haven't audition SACD standard, but I bet it sounds great. I haven't really planning of upgrading the source, since I am very content with what I have, and waiting for the Universal HD DVD/Blu-Ray crops, when it's ready.

    Polkatese,

If you ever find you have a couple grand lying around, you may want to consider a Primare A30.2. From what I've heard, the Primare is the best gear I've experienced at Magnolia, and a perfect match for Sonus (thus Sumiko's interest in distributing it). It's much more powerful than B&K, and allows for a level of inner detail, bass response and intensity that rivals even something at the level of Pass Labs and McIntosh. The Sumiko people hooked up a new prototype 200 x 2 Primare (the A30.2 being 120 x 2 or 200 into 4 Ohm), which they said performed very well w/ all the Sonus and Vienna gear, and they usually use Pass Labs. The A 30.2 can also be bridged to become a 300 watt + mono block, although the regular two channal mode would be more than enough to get wicked sound from the Cremonas. Just a suggestion, but I've had a lot of time w/ Sonus on both B&K and Primare, and I'd take Primare any day of the week.

    gregure,
thanks for the suggestions. I'll check it out, I know Pass Labs was used during my SF audition and indeed it sounded great.

While I've no doubt Krell, Pass Labs, McIntosh would all sound superb, the Primare is excellent gear and will not deplete your savings account too much. It's truly unreal the level of sheer power you experience from Primare amps, despite their modest ratings. The A30.2 is tiny, not much bigger than an Outlaw mono, but it is HEAVY. 120 watts from Primare is like 300 watts from B&K. No joke.
