The kids are back in school, the cooler weather is on the way which will be followed shortly by cold weather. The next 8 months or so are my favorite. Bring on the chill!

BTW, when I refer to cold weather I'm talking in the 50's or so, none of this below freezing crap, unless I'm skiing, then it's ok.

I didn't think that "Surf City, CA" has any freezing days unless you are freezing at 45f like me. ;)

No freezing here, we got snow on the beach once and hail a few times but that was about it.

I just lotahe summer. It's hot, crowded and just plain sucks. I love the cold. Dress in heavy warm garb, crank up the outdoor fire pit and down a warm stout. Ahhh, those days are almost here.

I like this time of year (winter) for one reason.

The grass does NOT grow. :D - good time it is. Otherwise I hate the hot and the cold - gimmie 70 degree please!

I hear you, Ron! this summer is killing me! looking forward to the chill, a month after Santa Ana blows down the canyon...!
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

sorry to hear about your allergy, Ron - *achoooo* :) , Santa Ana around Rancho causes serious havoc (almost always), especially to Palm trees (which I have several in the the front and back), so I need to get ready for it, before the Chill and the breathless, panoramic view of Mt. Baldy.

Believe me when I say this. When you live in Alaska, you rarely look forward to winter!! There are some good things, but when it is -20 outside, there isnt much to do.....

I like when it gets cooler also, as my electric bill is much lower. ;)

As for Trey 70f well that's just 1f after jacket time 69f, so in a stiff wind that is sweater time. 82f for just perfect. :)

Yes, summer is slowly coming to and end. Actually the month of September was better than August. Nice days and cool nights. My kind of 24 hours. Thoses cold, cold days are approaching. Time for ice-fishing.
