Just wanted to let you guys know that I just recently purchased the SVS PB12ultra/2. I currenty have a PSW505 sub. This SVS better be what you guys say it will. You guys sure do hype svs pretty good. I am counting on you not to dissappoint me.
Anyway, thanks for all the feedback on these issues and will let you know how it does.

Did anybody actually make sure that marcpam actually wants flat deep bass? I know several people are underwhelmed by SVS because they are so used to the "one not wonders" at the B&M stores?
Keith:
Any of those subs will do very well for both HT and music. My PB12/2+ has no trouble keeping up and blending with my big maggies so I doubt you'd find any of the subs to be unsatisfactory to your tastes. There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin -
He never asks for a reccomendation, he already ordered it and asked if it would be better then his polk. we said yes...MY HT RIG:

That's kinda how I first felt when I first dropped the sub in, then I noticed that I hadn't turned my PB12-ISD/2 on...
It takes a little getting used to not always knowing when the sub kicked in, but it's definately worth it. -
marcpam...............did you get your sub/s yet?

hey guys,
sorry for the delayed response. I have actually cancelled the order and just recently went with the PB12plus/2. This is what Ron V. at SVS recommended for my space. I have already ordered it and I should have a track number on Monday. I will definitely let you guys know the outcome. Again, it is replacing a PSW505. -
shouldn`t notice too much of a difference...that 505 is a monster..

Here is my recomendation for keeping pictures on the walls...
Order some foam gasket tape and put them on the corners of every picture in the room - this keeps them from bobbing back and forth... it also quiets up the room a bit...
Trust me on this one...

has anyone listened to the pearl harbor bomb sequence with their svs. If so, how does it sound.
I am referring to the scene where they drop the bomb on the ship and there is a delay and when the timer stops the ship explodes.
anyone know what i am referring to
