Anybody ever use Creatine or Ripped Fuels by Twinlab?

I have been using Twinlabs "Creatine Stack" and "Ripped Fuels" for a week now, and I am feeling a tremendous increase in strength and endurance during workouts. Anybody else ever used either one of these products before? If so, how did it affect you? Would you recommend anything else or are these good for working out?
Thanks
Landry

Just stay away from the roids man."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

I used to use creatine mixed in a protein shake everyday. I noticed that it helped in recovery time, but not so much help with muscle gains. It helped me during the off season, I could work out on back to back days and not be so sore. I also saw a difference in muscle fatigue late in the summer. I played baseball and competed at college during the spring and early summer, then played semi-pro ball when I left campus, and during the years that I used the supliment, I was still at full strength late in games. I believe creatine helped me and my game.
I'm now flabby, fat, and slow....but I still have a container of creatine waiting if I ever get my butt off the couch.RTi4-fronts

i like creatine. it adds water weight, but not fat. Like Jet2001 said it helps in recovery time- that was a great reply btw Jet. I've always liked creatine. I stay away from protein shakes, at least the "weight gainer" ones- too much fat.
IMO Creatine is great supplement, and no Noel it's not steroids. -

No ****!!! That's why there is all those little smilies. And I've had the pleasure of meeting Landry and he's built like a freakin fireplug that stands about 5'9" and goes about 270 lbs or so. That's why he doesn't even need the roids."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

oh but i forgot to mention. Ripped Fuel is Baaaaad friend. It can induce seizures and is basically like Stacker2- which is now illegal in the states.

I used Betagen from EAS (creatine, hmb, glutamine, taurine) and that stuff was awesome. My body responded very well to it. The problem is that stuff is expensive so I stopped taking it. Once in a while I will buy a bottle. Probably one of the best supplements I ever had..

The best stuff Ive found is Pro Performance (GNC's brand) Creadrive. It has 5.25 grams of creatine per serving and has a **** load of servings and with a Gold Card you can get it for $20!
Ive used creating for over a decade now and I swear by the stuff. I built up to a 425 bench, 600 squat and 550 pull and all 100% natural and I give creatine the credit. It aint the best for getting ripped or anything its purely for strength. It doesnt build anything for you it just gives your muscles a little extra energy storage for lifting an extra rep or 10 pounds. Unlike roids you still have to do the work or you wont get anything. The good thing about that is when you stop using creatine you keep what youve gained.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Using creatine daily i gained over 100 pounds on my bench press It also increased my reps and the pump i would get. The stuff works but it will make you retain water.I use to take it straight out of the can then i would wash it down with water.it is suggested you spike your insulin level by mixing it with a juice of some sort. It gets right into your system that way. supplementing creatin has its benefits but you can get enough from lean red meats. the problem is the ammount of read meat you have to eat to get enough. watch out for the fats and chlorestoral. a good book to read is called the sports supplement review written by eas founder Bill phillips.IT has a lot of good info.

I also heard to stay away from caffeine when taking creatine as caffeine interferes with creatine absorption.
I got great results with only the 2g that's in Betagen. I never "loaded" up on it as many people say you should.Receiver: harmankardon AVR235

From what I remember reading at ABC Bodybuilding creatine is suppose to be taken ONLY with water, and NEVER with anyjuices. You can spend WEEKS reading all the stuff on that site and going through their articles. I'd be there more often if I wasn't so insanely busy with work as of late.comment comment comment comment. bitchy.

Thats why I prefer a milk shake. Its much simpler to use and you get some protein with it which is perfect after a workout. Plus the Creadrive is much cheaper than any other creatine supplement.
I also know for a fact it works. I was sick as a dog a while back and the doctor ran some bloodwork on me. I was only taking 5 grams after each workout which is about 3 times a week and hadnt taken any in a week having not worked out and my creatine level was almost twice as high as it should be.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

I like the way creatine makes me feel. I had a few times where I could not complete my workouts due to fatigue, so far no such thing. When I am done, I still have energy to spare. Not so much as being "hyper-active", just not fatigued at all. The muscles are pumped, and they stay pumped even a few days later. M-W-F workouts are for chest, biceps, quads, and abs. My Tues-Thurs workouts are focused on Shoulders, triceps, back, abs, and calves. I am off on weekends for rest. I use 225 for my decline and flat bench press, and it seems to be getting lighter and lighter each time. I may need to increase my reps. I have not maxed in a while, but about 6 weeks ago, I pushed up 340 on my bench, which is a personal best for me, not while using creatine or any type of suppliment.
I always take my creatine with water only. I need to check into the ripped fuels, because I am down to 263 right now and dropping. My body fat is going down at a steady rate, I just don't want to have a seizure. :eek:Main Set-up: 55" 120 hz Samsung LN55B650, Onkyo TX-SR806, Emotiva XPA-5, Emotiva XPA-2, PS3 Slim, Sony BDP-S560, Apple TV (160g), Panamax M5300-PM, Polk Audio CSi5, RTi10's, FXi3's, RTi4's, and SVS PB12 Plus

Correct. I was about 273lbs. I think. Hey, by the way, you cheated me out of about 2 inches. I am 5'11" man. I have Creatine and I just started drinking it. It doesn't taste bad and I haven't noticed anything yet. I drink alot of Gatorade and use Cliff bars for my workouts. Mostly when I'm riding the cliff bar comes in real handy when your energy is getting low.
I also picked up some Ripped fuel. It gave me a headache and I stopped using it.

Actually at the very small school I went to in Arkansas, I had to play high or low post. I was the tallest on the team  . But before I tore up my right knee, playing intramural ball at the Y, I had decent range. We had a kid on our team that could dominate a game and he was only 5'7", but had hops out of this world. He grew up with 13 siblings and he was in the middle. He had older brothers that were quite a bit taller so he learned, at an early age, how to get his shot off in any situation. He could have played at any major college as a point or a 2 guard, but because of his height and grades, nobody gave him a chance. One of his younger brothers played for SEMO, til he hurt himself, but he was 6'4"."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

If youre just starting out lifting weights creatine isnt for you. I wouldnt recommend it to anyboyd except advanced lifters whos progress has slowed.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Been lifting since December, but just started the creatine.Main Set-up: 55" 120 hz Samsung LN55B650, Onkyo TX-SR806, Emotiva XPA-5, Emotiva XPA-2, PS3 Slim, Sony BDP-S560, Apple TV (160g), Panamax M5300-PM, Polk Audio CSi5, RTi10's, FXi3's, RTi4's, and SVS PB12 Plus

You dont really need it then. In your first year of lifting you can do no wrong and everything you do makes you grow. You probably wouldnt notice much improvements. After you get a year or two under your belt and gains start coming more slowly thats when creatine is useful.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Question
Will too much creatine give you kidney stones? -
Doubtfull but too much isnt good for em. My doctor had a fit when he saw my creatine level and did say its hard on the kidneys. I tend to believe the guys with 42 years of college so I have backed off a bit. I only take 5 grams after every other workout.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
