    :)...

    well, thanks...

btw, i think that when i receive my c500.1 ill set the sound using the DSP of the head unit, it have an crossover, i can set ANYTHING from it.... its ideal for biamp the components and amp the subwoofer...

please take a look at the manual of my HU and see what do you think abt that...
    http://www.pioneer.com.sg/storefront/manual/DEH-P8650MP.pdf

(i already post that link in another thread)
you guys think that will be ok using that crossover?

this looks great for me, because i can set anything lpf, hpf, of tweeters and mids and much more...

take a look at page 48, a lot of damn options :D

i think that that way will be great

well, im thinking seriously abt dont buy the c500.1 i think that will be too much for my ears... btw, i dont think that will play music too louder everytime... but don tknow, maybe i can save that money, what do you think guys?

with the C500.1 i can biamp the components (and that will be great) but 520U$S for biamp the components maybe will be an price too high :)

    what do you think guys?

btw, if i buy the c500.1 maybe i can goto some SQ competitions :D

    Get the 500.1

Trust me, youll be glad you did. More power doesnt necessarily mean louder, it mostly means better SQ.

sam... there's no reason - in my opinion, to get the 500.1 if you are happy with what you have. if you've got highs and a subwoofer, and it's all amped already, then you don't need to add the 500.1 if you are happy.

if you're lights are dimming off only the 400.4, then the 500.1 is going to kill you. check the amperage output of your alternator and get back to us.

im really afraid if someone steal my amps :(

i will have like 1000U$S with the 2 amps... if i can get the money next week ill buy the c500.1 but i want to you guys tellme what benefit i will have if i use the C400.4 and C500.1

i dont know if you remember what i have.... i have a pair of MM2124 and MMC6500

i want the c500.1 too because i will start importing some amps and car audio stuff to sell in my country, and will be great to compare the quality of the amps that i will buy from some factories from china against the Polk High End Amps :)

ill check the amperage in a few hours, now i need to goto sleep

I think hes running the MM's off the front channels and a single 2124 off each rear channel.

i will need more power for sure for that subwoofers :D

    ooooh

well then it makes complete sense to get the 500.1

you are only giving your subwoofers 75 watts each. that is not enough.

the 500.1 will give you 250 to 300 watts each to the subwoofers.

that would be perfect, and then you can bi-amp the front speakers with the 400.4

if that is the case, then i HIGHLY reccomend you should get the 500.1

you just have to check to be sure your car can handle it (big battery, maybe bigger alternator).

SQ is a dying breed it seems. There was supposed to be a local show this Saturday and it was to have a small SQ class but there wasnt enough interest so it aint gonna happen. Its sad. Car audio doesnt seem to be as much about good sound anymore as it is loud bass and neon.

actually, $4 for a meter of 8 awg isn't too bad... that's about $1.33 per foot... I think most shops and online stores charge about $1.00 to 1.25 per foot, so that's not terribly bad.
