    Dont tell that to anybody on the HA side unless you have a flame retardant suit handy! They also are big believer that cables need to break in like a speaker or "burn in" for several hours before you get the best sound.

    Now, do you have to play your music at low levels while braking the cable in. Can the cable be damaged by not doing this :).

    Absolutely not. Its an electrical signal plain and simple. If you were to buy a new extension cord would you have to break it in before using it? How about when you buy a new water hose. Do you have to use it at low pressure before using at full?
