Hello I plugged in my Polk PSW140 Powered Sub last night and it did not work. I checked the fuse and it looked fine. The fuse is 1 1/4 amp, 250V, 313? Fuse. I took it to the local Radio Shack and they gave me what I am not sure was a replacement for it. I put in a new fuse and the sub worked for about 5 seconds before the fuse blew. I tried four more fuses with the same result. The package of the fuses that Radio Shack gave me had the same Amp and Volt ratings that the other fuse had but did not say 313 on it. The fuses look the same but the Radio Shack ones seem to have a smaller filliment in them. I am not sure what the problem is with my sub but I would rather fix it than have to buy a cheapy one as a substitute untill I can afford a newer one.

Sounds like a short somewhere in the chain, the fuse is blowing instead of it blwing up - contact Ken. (the moderator to this forum)- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.
