What do you guy's like for interconnect's?Any why.
I used to use Monstercable m950i's but I switched To Transparent due to the fact that it made my system smoother, and clearer. The overall tone is warmer.

I picked up some Monster 400mkII. Sounds pretty good I think. Right now I don't have the cash to go to something better, as these were $40 a pair.

Of course, the ones I got were a lot better than the shat I had before. These are mountains above what my co-workers have. They think I am crazy ;) hahaha

But all in all, I don't think interconnects are as much of price/performance as something like an amplifier is. You may pay a lot more for a better cable, but it *might* sound only marginally better.

MIT, they are impedance matched to the input impedance of the component the signal is going into (amp/reciever). I found them to present smoother highs and more authoritive bass with a deeper sound stage on my SDA's. Overall a dramatic improvement
over the old Monster cables. These MIT's cost me about $350.00.
There best cables are about $1000.00. Before spending more $
on cables I found the $20-$100 cables about the same.

I also use MIT. I use a pair of Terminator 6 10' interconnects for my subwoofer, and they are completely amazing for the money (as I've said numerous times). I have a pair of Terminator 3 interconnects that look nice, but I didn't notice a big improvement with them. For my CD player I use the previous version of the MI-330 cable which is very nice. It should also be mentioned that all of these cables were demoed on my RT800 receiver system (before I got my RT55 separetes system).

By the way, F1, what MIT cables do you have?

I have yet to find a worthwile difference in opticals, but I haven't tried. I use standard optical for DVD, CD & CDR and for the sub I use AQ sidewinder. Good performanc/price all around.

    straight from the MIT website:

    MIT Interface Innovation Timeline

1981 Bruce Brisson, MIT’s founder, develops the industry's first true High End interconnect cable, which contains a patented core technology of the future MIT Reference Series products.

1982 Bruce licenses his interconnect technology to Monster Cable. Called Interlink Reference with Bandwidth Balanced technology by Monster, Bruce's technology launches the entire high-performance cable product category.

1984 Bruce founds MIT and launches the revolutionary MH-750 Music Hose, the first true High End speaker cable.

just thought this may be of interest to you guys...

If I only knew something about optical cables.............
What I have heard is that they are fragile and most people prefer coax, but I have no first hand knowledge. I know you're just fooling around, I'm lol too!
