That's cool but picking spreads is like golf. It has a way of humbling us when we least expect it. I know....I've been doing both for years! ;)

God, youre telling me. Those spreads are kicking my ****.

I dont follow football that much. The only analysis I get is from the commentators when I watch the games. Other than that Im in the dark. Hell I bet I couldnt name more than 10 current players.

    go titans. whoopee.

So what was the final score? 1,427-3? GAWD they suck this year!

So which one counts? The total wins or the number in the far right column?

Jeez! The Raiders finally won a game. I hope that wasn't a fluke, but it probably was. Either way, I am no bandwagon fan, and I have rode with the Men in Black for years and will continue to do so, no matter what. :D

Whoa, I just checked my picks, I only got THREE this week?! Good thing I'm not a gambler.

And MacLeod, the last column is the one that counts - everyone has their two worst weeks dropped, and the last column is your score with two drops. Kinda meaningless until later in the season.

Read what this bookie had to say about this weekends game's:

The parity party continues. Eleven of the 14 NFL games opened at a three-point spread or landed there during the week. Said Jeff Sherman, assistant manager of the Las Vegas Hilton's race & sports book, "I've worked in this business for 12 years, and I've seen some peculiar weeks. But I've never seen anything like this. I can't ever recall so many games on the board at these numbers."

The paste is from Jim Armstrong..columnist for the Denver Post.

Folks. Folks. Pick all of your picks in advance. Right now. Take 20 minutes out of your lives and make picks for the rest of the year. That way if you forget, a tleast you get SOME picks, instead of a zero. Obviously you should "update' them every week, but just to be SAFE for all you forgetters, PICK THE ENTIRE SEASON NOW.

Oh yeah! I didnt think about that! Cool.

I would pick em all at once Bob but I like to think I actually know what Im doing so I like to wait and see how the teams are shaping up. Some teams can suck and then get better so I prefer to take it week by week.

Damn spreads are killing me. I'm tied with landry goin' into tomorrow nights game. As long as the Rams can stay within 13.5 I'll be a happy guy.

Understood. All I'm saying is if you pick them beforehand, and CHANGE them every week like you said, at least if you forget, AGAIN, you don't get a zero for the week. It's just a failsafe if you forget, it's not like you're just picking everything and never looking again.

I don't know who I am to be dispensing advice, I'm getting my butt kicked in the pool :D

Losing their starting QB really killed the Rams. I thought they would at least stay within 13.5pts .

Having a decent week so far. No one seems to be running away with it this week.

Anyone watch the Cowboys-Seahawks game? Wow! What a finish!
