Fry's Sale this weekend

Finally, I took the DRP-2005 out of the box and set it up. A lot of prep before that, what a "labor" day.
As planned, 5.1 only, RTA-15TL at the front, RTA-11TL as the rear surrounds, and CS-400 as the center, and the weakest piece - Dahlquist 12" subwoofer. The Polks all around are quite a match. I only played a couple DVD's, but it is like day and night comparing to the aging Yamaha DSP-A2070. The 120w/ch at 8 ohms output seems to be quite adequate to drive the Polks. It also has 7.1 preamp outs; therefore, it is quite easy to hook up a power amp for the front if it runs out of gas. The surround effects is quite amazing. 2-ch is OK. Since I have a separate 2-ch rig, I care less the 2-ch performance. All in all, it is well worth the money.
